Pure-Solv Solvent Purification Systems

Safety is your number one priority and Innovative Technology's Pure-Solve System eliminates thermal distillation risks, the risk of injury to your staff and the risk of fires in your lab that are often caused by typical distillation methods. That's why our Pure-Solv Solvent Purification System is fast becoming the number one, safety alternative used by all laboratories that use and purify solvents.

Solvents pass through activated columns under low pressure to remove trace impurities. Stainless Steel Schlenk Vacuum line and Sigma Aldrich Airfree flasks allow you to safely transfer solvents without risk. And this system effectively removes water and oxygen to produce dry, deoxygenated High-Purity Solvents on demand.

Systems and Options

The Pure-Solv Solvent Purification Systems are available in free-standing bench top or wall mounted models. These systems can be designed to mount on top of flammable storage cabinets, as well as inside existing or new fume hoods. We'll work with you to create the exact system you need.

Flammable Cabinets
Cabinets designed to safely store solvent reservoirs are often required in order to meet local fire regulations. Whether required or not, it's always better to be safe than sorry. All Innovative Technology Cabinets are equipped with welded stainless steel bulkhead fittings for solvent transfer to maintain flammable rating.

Solvent Storage Flasks
Select Solvent Storage Flasks for storing and dispensing air-sensitive solvents. With 24/40 ground glass joints and septum inlet PTFE stopcock. Custom designs also available.

Solvent Trap
Pre-plumbed into the system, Solvent Traps are designed to protect vacuum pumps from contaminants. We also offer oil mist eliminators as well.

Keyed Quick Disconnects
These replace the color coded quick disconnects, and will prevent users from connecting the solvent line to wrong purifying columns.

Replacement Solvent Columns
When you've processed 200 liters through your SPS-200 system or 400 liters through your SPS-400, the System will notify your representative at IT, and we'll ship you brand new columns. Replacement columns will be activated and pressure tested for easy installation. By purchasing new columns from IT, you can rest assured that they've been correctly treated, and you'll avoid down time caused by lengthy regeneration procedures. In providing new columns, Innovative Technology eliminates the need to ship used contaminated columns back and forth, which is classified as hazardous and requires special licensing.

Heating Blanket
Designed to be wrapped around an individual purification column, this feature is used in conjunction with a temperature controller and thermocouple system to regenerate the purifying columns.

Temperature Controller
The Variac Controller effectively controls and maintains specified temperatures for the regeneration process.

Choose Your Solvents
Innovative Technology also offers a new line of specially prepared and packaged solvents that enhance the performance, safety, and convenience of PURE SOLV systems. Specify up to seven different solvents for use in a single PURE SOLV solvent purification system.
