Gas Purification Systems
|
The System One-GP series of gas purifiers are designed to be free standing units for use with any glove box.
The GP-1 contains one purifier column for applications where regeneration can be done overnight or while the box is not in use.
The GP-2 contains two purifier columns for applications that require continuous processing. One column is in use while the other column is being regenerated.

Features of our Gas Purification Systems
Both systems incorporate the following features that are designed and manufactured by Innovative Technology in our Newburyport facility:
- Microprocessor Controller: This was designed specifically to control all glove box and purifier functions. It consists of two modules: the lower module contains the power supply and all solid state relays and LED indicators of value status. The upper module contains the microprocessor, display of box pressure, select and enter functions and push button control of the blower, vacuum pump and regeneration. The upper module can be remotely mounted according to operator preference.
- Variable Speed Blower: This state of the art blower operates from 0-60 cfm and is controlled by the microprocessor. The user can select the optimum blower speed for a specific box configuration or application. For example, weighing or crystal mounting requires minimum turbulence. Inadvertent entry of small amounts of air requires maximum circulation. This blower, because of its unique design, does not require cooling water.
- Ease of installation: Glove box gas connections are simply accomplished by KF40 connectors. Working gas inlet and regeneration gas are 3/8" Swagelokâ. The systems can be supplied with a vacuum pump or you can connect your own to a 3/8" Swagelokâ connection.
